Assistant Coach
Corey Thompson is a student-athlete at the University of St. Thomas and is entering his senior season with the Celts after an outstanding junior year. A graduate of Hightower High School in Houston, Corey has established himself as one of the top players in the SCAC, leading UST in scoring while helping the program achieve a remarkable 29–2 overall record. His accomplishments earned him First Team All-SCAC honors as well as a selection to the SCAC All-Tournament Team.
Corey is passionate about giving back to the game by investing in the next generation of players. He values the opportunity to connect with young athletes, helping them develop confidence in themselves while improving their skills and understanding of the game.
As a coach, Corey emphasizes hard work, consistency, and a team-first mindset. He strives to create a positive environment where players are challenged to grow, compete with confidence, and enjoy the process of becoming the best version of themselves both on and off the court.
